Old Gold Rate Today in Bangalore
The market value of old gold follows the same rate as new gold. On 26 Oct 2026 that is about:
| Purity | Per gram | 10 grams |
|---|---|---|
| 22K (916) | ₹12,870 | ₹1,28,700 |
| 24K (999) | ₹14,039 | ₹1,40,390 |
| 18K (750) | ₹10,529 | ₹1,05,290 |
Jewellers and gold buyers set their own buying rates, which are usually a little lower than these figures, and may deduct a percentage for melting loss. Ask for the buying rate per gram before your gold is tested.
How the Old Gold Value Is Calculated
Net gold weight = total weight − stones, beads or lac
Gold value = net weight × rate per gram for the tested purity
Payout = gold value − buyer’s deduction
Example: a 20 g 22K chain with 1 g of beads has 19 g of gold. At ₹12,870 per gram that is ₹2,44,530. With a 2% deduction the payout would be about ₹2,39,639.
